CZ.NIC, z. s. p. o., interest Association of legal persons, founded in 1998, the leading provider of Internet services.

Currently already has more than 50 members. The main activities of the associations is the operation of the registry of domain names .CZ and 0.2.4.e164.arpa (ENUM), the security service of the top-level domain CZ and education in the field of domain names.

Currently, the Association of intensively involved the expansion of the ENUM system, the expansion and improvement of the management system of domains, DNSSEC deployment and support of new technologies and promote projects of interest for the Internet infrastructure in the Czech Republic.

CZ.NIC is a member of international organisations, which are made up of a similar organization in the world (CENTRE, ccNSO, ITU and others) and also a member of the association of EURid, who manages the european domain EU.
